Thank u Chartis for the $100 voucher hehehehe... I get to eat for free with hubby... and Ash as well.. he tagged along as we felt that he had done alot during the wedding and feeding his tummy with food is another way of saying thank you to him!! ;)

Dinner was good... even though Ash cited that people have feedback that the food was kinda so-so, but it didnt disappoint us that day.. we were very thrilled with the desserts, especially... its just so tasty and yummy!!! Love it ... Soooo loving it!!!

Ash had like 4 rounds of food while my husband went for 3... me??? i had two rounds of food but countless round on the tea... I just love tea...

No strings attached

No String Attached
starring Ashton Kutcher & Natalie Portman

It was our first movie after we got married. Watched on 18th February 2011 at 9.30pm located at GV Grand ( Great World City ). Unlike many other movies that we have watched together, I normally would pre-book the tickets online. This time I purchased it over the counter as I left early from work to get the tickets. When I met my hubby later on, we had dinner and I handed him the tickets to him.. This is the funny part that I will never forget.. He lost the tickets just before the movie started.. eeeeeeeeeeeeeksssss!!!! I got freaked out.. thankfully the cashier at the counter managed to reprint a copy of the tickets for us.. hmmmm...

The movie was extremely entertaining after a day work.. especially since its a friday.. its the best time to end the week with a good and funny show.. read on the plot.. but better still is to catch it while its still on teaters. U will definitely enjoyed the movie.. Though its a predictable plot yet for those in love or not believing in love as yet, its still worth to watch.. I rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars..

p/s: Ashton says ," oh we are just sex partners..no strings attached..no.. (stutter) nothing serious going on.. " and his neighbour went on saying, " I dont believe it.. "

Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) are two friends who keep bumping into each other after years apart from each other. Emma and Adam meet again through their mutual friend Patrice, when Emma is a resident in a local hospital and Adam is the assistant on a Glee-type show, with aspirations of becoming a script writer. Adam takes down Emma’s phone number, but forgets to call her. Six months later, Adam becomes distraught, when his eccentric father (Kevin Kline), who used to be the star of a TV show called “Great Scott” is having a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa. Determined to ‘get back on the wagon’, Adam starts calling every woman in his cell phone. The next day, he wakes up after a drunken night to find out that he text-messaged Emma and came to the home she shares with some other residents, including Patrice. Emma leads Adam to her bedroom to retrieve his pants, when the two of them wind up having sex.

Because Emma doesn’t believe in love – she believes that ‘no two people were meant to be together forever’ – Emma proposes that they have casual sex with each other, setting some ground rules for each other to prevent their relationship from becoming too serious. At first things go well, but then Adam starts becoming jealous of the possibility of Emma being with another doctor, Sam. Although denying that he is jealous, Adam starts presenting her with gifts, which she rebuffs. Adam becomes more distraught when his father asks him to dinner with Vanessa on Adam’s birthday, where they announce that they’re planning on having a baby together. Emma, who accompanied Adam to the dinner, berates the couple while defending Adam. Adam eventually convinces her to go out with him on a date on Valentine’s Day. Things come to a head when Emma starts becoming too uncomfortable about being on a date with Adam. Adam tells Emma that he loves her, but she grows angry, telling him he should go out with another woman who ‘isn’t going to hurt you’. Adam drops Emma off at her hospital and drives off.

Six weeks later, a spec script Adam had wrote for his show and submitted through Lucy, the production assistant on the show, is being filmed and Adam is set to get a writing job on the show. Emma, meanwhile, has become distraught at not being with Adam, which is compounded by her younger sister’s upcoming wedding the next day and her widowed mother arriving with a new boyfriend. Emma tries calling Adam, but Adam rebuffs her on the phone. Emma realizes she wants to be with him, and drives down to his home. Adam, however, arrives home with Lucy, whom Emma takes to be Adam’s new girlfriend. Emma tearfully starts driving back to the wedding. Before Adam and the production assistant can have sex, Adam is called by Vanessa – his father is in the hospital, having overdosed on cough syrup. Arriving at the hospital, Vanessa confesses that she doesn’t want to be with an older man, and dumps her dog off on Adam, who talks to his father and chastises him, but tells him he’ll call tomorrow. On the way out, Adam is called again by Emma. Adam angrily tells Emma that she needs to have the conversation she wants in person – which she does; Emma’s friend and resident Shira noticed Adam’s father arriving and called Emma. Adam and Emma eventually reconcile, and after a morning of eating breakfast together they go together to Emma’s sister’s wedding. Emma asks, “So, what’s next?” and Adam silently holds her hand.

Menara dining

Thats me and my boyfriend (back then, now my beloved husband... )

This is taken on 19/12/2009. It was my first dining experience @ Menara KL (KL Tower). Never I thought I would be dining thousands feet high above the ground.. Damn that was something.. It was a one day event planned and organised by my boyfriend.. Actually there was something else too..

He proposed to me on that beautiful day and it really caught me speechless. We got engage on the 27th December on the same year.. few days after the proposal..Followed by our marriage.. :)

It has been a beautiful journey with him so far and I wish it stays that way.. til the very end.. :)

Down for 5 days

I woke up today feeling so bad.. Body ache all over my body.. I cant even move a muscle.. and I was so light-headed that I decide to stay in bed.. Monday morning!! What a time to be sick!! Just got back from Lombok and to be sick on Monday-working morning...Duh!! My husband had to drag me out of bed..but I was too weak to even move a muscle..After much hassle, I finally made my way to the clinic @ Westmall.. Doc says its "stomach flu" , must have caught something dirty.. even Doc said it could not be the food in Lombok.. could probably be in Singapore.. and I began to wonder where did I go wrong? It cant be the food in Lombok.. its so clean.. then I tried to recall what else that went wrong, what did I consume that I end up so weak??

Its only when my husband return home from work and wanted to get dinner for me and he mentioned something about veggies to me and suddenly.."Bingo"!!! I got it!! I knew it!! I think I know the root of it...

As I recall through, I asked myself, what was it that I ate that my husband dont? Cause obviously he has been well as an ox after the trip.. The only thing I could remember was the food provided by the airline we took on our way back to Singapore. I remembered the food was a lil opened when the flight attendant passed it to me.. and being someone who hates veggies, my husband passed all his veggies and chicken to me.. Right after we land, i was already not feeling too well.. the flu came in only in the morning when I opened my eyes only to realise how weak I was..

I was in bed for 2 days and return to work thereafter.. then I was still a lil weak though but not as bad as the first two days.. Gosh!! That was a nightmare..

Imagine it was Valentine and I was stuck at home accompanied by Stomach Flu!! :p

Then again , I dont believe in Valentines.. its just another way to waste $$$!! (Maybe i'll talk more about it later.. )

Welcome back Home!

This is home truly.. where I know I must be... ( that song keep playing in my head, seriously )

Yes.. I am now on my way back home to Singapore from Lombok.. Checking in to the Selaparang airport and I have like 2 freaking hours to wait for my Silkair flight back home. Its goodbye Lombok.. for now.. yes InsyaALLAH.. i will be back again..hopefully.. it is such a beautiful place to be in Lombok.. the greeneries, the people, the places, the memories... who can ever forget that? I will never forget the moments I had in Lombok.. it was indeed a beautiful and peaceful place to be.. with a perfect someone called, Husband! ;)

The flight is only 2hours and 30 mins from Lombok to Singapore.. Not enough time to get to boredoom level.. (*wink wink*)

10.30pm - Landed in Singapore.. (12/02/2011)

I was shaken when  I step my feet out of the flight.. its like.. "Oh no!" Then that song came to my head again.. yeah.. I keep telling myself that I need to come back to Singapore in order for me to be able to visit Lombok again.. (Just like what hubby likes to tell me..)

I realised there isnt much different between Lombok and Singapore.. Afterall, both is still an Island.. only Lombok is 3 times bigger than Singapore.. still they are both an Island.. one that shout "Paradise" while the other one shout out loud -" Hell (work) is waiting for your arrival on Monday morning".. Arrrrghhhhhh!! (I guess u guys can figure out which is which right, obviously! ;) )

Lombok : Day One

Lombok Day One:

We reached Selaparang Airport, Lombok via SilkAir MI128 around 6.30pm. The airport was the smallest airport I ever saw.. but what impressed was the greenery Lombok has.. I never thought we could visit Lombok.. I always thought its gonna be Bali.. but u know what I never regret it wasnt Bali as my honeymoon destination.. cause I love Lombok more than Bali.. I love everything there... I will tell u why as we go on in this blog about Lombok.. Cleanliness was another key factor about this island. As I alight from the plane, I breathe the fresh air of Lombok.. so untouched by modenisation of city.. its very rural and quite primitive I can say, looking by the way how life runs there..

Ok... as I went to the airport to get my passport stamped, I realised a significant of its people.. they look so well-built and healthy.. they dont have that "island-look-a-like" kinda people.. u know like the ones in Bali.. they looked pretty scrawny.. thin and dark... their faces shows the skeletons of the facial features unlike the people in Bali.. They look... more like the Malays in Singapore.. the difference is.. they (the guys mainly.. look so much better than the Malay guys in Singapore.. (whoops sorry guys but its the truth.. u guys dint stand a chance against them) Seriously, the guys there will make u look u wish u be born in Lombok instead of SG... hahahaha...

Having someone waiting for us outside the airport was someone from Bidy Tours called Abang Ariff. A man in his early forties greeted us with warm pleasure made us so welcome in this beautiful island. He and his driver drove us to Qunci Villa and there, we were greeted with darkness at 7.30pm???? seriously it gets dark at 7pm..infact when we arrived at around 6.30pm, it was like "Magrib" in SG..

So Welcome to Qunci Villa.... Room Number: Qumbara!! One bedroom with own private Pool!!! (*wink wink*)

Checking to Qunci was a breeze.. we were greeted by the friendly conciege... with a warm welcome.. Served with a cold lemongrass drink and wet towel... we were escorted to our room and I was "wow-ed" when I saw where I will spending my time during the stay... As i made my way to the bathroom... I got a shocked ..shocked by the fact that it ROOFLESS!!! Means...I am bathing naked at night... with an actual coconut trees just on top of my head.. nonetheless, it was relaxing..really... just that it took me a while to adjust to it..

After settling down, we went to grab dinner.. at the hotel restaurant... u know I can never forget the serenity of the place.. it was peaceful!!! Again we were greeted by the friendly staffs of Qunci.. they were extremely welcoming.. their faces beamed with smiles..happy and sincere smiles that made my day throughout..

Checking in to MI128 - Flying to Lombok @ 1545hrs

hey pple!! u have no idea what I just went thru before going thru the entrance for mt flight.. Our flight was schedule at 1545hrs and we checked in to Changi Airport @ 1300hrs. See we have like 2 hours or so to roam about in the airport while waiting for our flight.. A lot of things caught my eyes and I just cant simply resist them.. there is just so many things to look at and especially when they are having sale or discounts on some selected brands.. My first place that I run too was GODIVA followed by the cosmetic area. I love the travel size ones... Managed to grab one from Lancome and stock up on my MAC essentials. ;) *wink wink*

Ok.. time is counting down to 1515hrs and guess what we are still in NIKE.. browsing around.. when we stepped out from Nike, we saw the gates are closing for our flight... we gave a frantic chase to the gates and gosh, we still managed to reach on time.. well it was like a 3 min run... checked in, got seated and belt up... door closed... everyone in position and we are off the ground in about 5 mins... yeah...

I know some people will freak out in that situation..to me.. I enjoyed every bit of it.. Imagine chasing your flight in the departure hall with so many people / foreigners around u and yes.. a lil feel of Amazing race.. huh..like as though I never encounter it before.. :p

So flying to LOMBOK via Silk Air..will be reaching in two and half hours time..

ZZZZZzzzzzz.....

Changi Airport, my fav airport!!

 Singapore Changi Airport

I have a lot if reasons to love Changi Airport..mainly not only because of the flights availibility, but the value added services that is available in the airport..

1) Shopping is always a breeze.. (No tax!! what do u expect??)
They have almost everything I loike, ranging from food to cosmetics... MAC, Lancome, and many others.. and did I mentioned its free tax!!! OMG!!)

2) Internet Services is like everywhere.. I loike!!! I can wifi from my iPhone, thats the best part!!

3) Toilets are clean and I dont have to worry about those unpleasant smell when u enter any public toilets in those malls.

and the list goes on and on...

While waiting for our flight, we stopped for some "goodies" that we wanted to get for ourselves... Bought few things and I think I spent more time at the cosmetic stores... I just love those travel pack cosmetics that came in pretty small sizes.. of course they came in handy too.. especially when u travelled alot.. Grabbed some books and oh ya... I managed to grab some GODIVA chocolates.. I love their dark chocolates range.. They are pretty good with good 85% contents cocoa..pretty good to keep myself smiling and happy..

Oh here is the best part..My husband who used to hate dark chocolates now eats them too.. GODIVA in Changi Airport is so much better than the ones in the retail stores.. they have more ranges of chocolates with different sorts of packaging and prices are pretty affordable too..

Ooopsss.. time for my flight now.. Gotta run before I missed it.. Daaaaaaaaaaa... sampai JUMPA!! :P
