Sambal Telur

Tonight I tried a new dish.. Well I know it may be easy for most of u out there but... however... and... or.. oh well.. It was for me too!! LOL.. Never really had a cookbook next to me, I decided to just go-with-the-flow!! Thank God I didnt end up burning the entire kitchen!!

I remembered reading the recipe somewhere and I manage to have the ingredients in my head.. the rest is all about estimation.. or what malays usually called, "agak-agak"! :p
Ingredients:

Dried Chillies
Onions
Garlics (I like them more.. so more for me!!)
a lil Belacan (gosh what was it in English?)
cooking Oil (of course!!)
and... lastly and definitely.. The eggs!! Oh ya... I forgot about this air asam jawa.!!

Outcome: It came a lil too spicy and as per my husband.. "acceptable to his taste buds"... well I didnt say I am cooking for everyone eh... :)

I am sooo not in the mood for shopping...

Not in the mood for travelling...

Not in the mood for, I think, almost everything... Work?? oh pls.. dont start!! I can give 1001 curse on work..

Its just soo tiring the past few days.. and guess what..I aimed to finish my "Sutera Bidadari" by one week after I started reading it.. and loook... LOOK!!!! Its been more than that!!! Gosh!!!! I am way behind schedule!!! To some out there, they have already know the ending of this novel while I am still like just a quarter away from the BEGINING!!! Huuuuuuuwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah~!!!!!

Manners

I remembered when I was young, my mom would tell me to keep ourselves clean and she would ensure that we were living in a good hygeine environment. When either one of us is sick, she would tell us to cover our mouth when we cough or sneeze be in public or at home. This is to ensure that other wont get the same virus.

Now, I see many old folks.. generally old folks would actually violate this manners. Many times I saw them cough so bad "happily" without even covering their mouth!! Gosh I really cant stand them.. It is so annoying.. They are such a selfish idiots!

Sutera Bidadari - Finally

Yes yes yes!! Finally I got it.. Finally its mine!!

The latest book released, authored by my favourite writer, Ramlee Awang Murshid.... "Sutera Bidadari".. Got mine @ MPH, City Square, JB. Left with few pieces on the shelf, I made a quick grab before its gone!! Gosh I guess I am not the only one waiting for this book..

Gosh I cant wait to read this book.. till then my blogging will have to be put on hold.. whoops.. see ya once I am done with Sutera Bidadari..

Siam Kitchen Dinner

Location: Siam Kitchen @ City Square Mall , Singapore.

Eversince they opened this new mall @ Serangoon.. Located just opposite of Mustafa Centre, its pretty easy to get by to this eco-friendly mall.. u can choose to alight @ Farrer Road station (NEL Line) or take a bus. There is a number of buses that will bring u to City Square mall.

So its time to "pigged" in.. With 16 different dish served in buffet style..I would say Siam Kitchen sure knows how to limit their food before others start to waste it away.. Just like Seoul Garden..

We ate like 3 round of food.. I could only last two.. yet that was not with the pineapple rice. Only the Dishes!! We ate to our hearts content til its about time to go back.. Oh I managed to peek at the lastest sale in Metro with few colleagues.. Nothing much..

Its another weekend tomorrow and I just couldnt wait what my husband has in store for us..

Any month's 13th day will fall on a Friday if the month starts on a Sunday. - (Google that onw out.. but still it still do not explain why Friday the 13th is a bad luck day?

Can someone kindly enlighten me on this topic??????

Robinson Sale Haul

Robinsons Sale Haul @ Singapore Expo

Another great sale by Robinson.. guess what my haul this time? Shoes!! And more shoes.. Bought a pair of Itti Otto shoes and a pair of  Hush Puppies shoes.. :) Love love it!! On top of it, I also bought this work pants for my hubby.. Cool.. from James Brentwood..  I thought I would end up with chocolates but this time its all about shoe-mania!!

I went the first day and there werent so many crowd until I reached the payment counter.. Omg!! The queue was ridiculously Loooong!! Then again, the queue cleared quite fast and with fast and efficient staffs Robinsons has, made my wait a lil faster..

I love my shoes.. love it.. I took photos of it but have yet to upload it.. will do so soon!!

Waaaaarrmmm!!

Is it just me or the entire island? I have been bathing in sweat ( oh.. the correct should be perspire!!) for the few days.. I had to open the main door til like midnight, still there is just no wind.. the humid has reached insanity level.. I'd say.. Even when u took a late night shower, u will still end up perspiring..Its like NON STOP!!

At first I thought its just the neighbourhood I'm living in.. but my hubby assured that its the entire island.. Gosh!!! I wish it would rain.. "Hujan tu kan rahmat" - versi Opah (Upin & Ipin) lol..

Busy Weekend

It was a busy weekend for me.. Saturday is Polling day and Sunday is an all-errands day.. I was schedule for lesson last Sunday when something came up and I had to reschdule it to another day. Gosh!! I just hate that!! Rescheduling!!

After casting my vote, I went over to MIL for brunch.. Nasi Lemak!! MmMmmm.. nice!! Never thought that I would get a chnace to vote..like many others, they would say.. Vote Wisely!!

Hmm... interesting isnt it?

Whoops when I say busy, I really mean busy.. Got to go now..

My haul (May)

Its Esprit shopping time!!

Went to Esprit @ Marina Sqaure and bought some stuffs there.. got myself 3 pants ( 2 of which is grey..I dont know why but grey seems to be IN now..), few Tees ( got myself Pink, white and grey Again!) and this black short sleeve cardigan that will match all my dresses!! Yeay!!

I simply love Marina Square..apart from its distance from the MRT, i think its a cool place to shop!! Most of my favourite brands can be found in Marina Square.. Crocs, Esprit, DOROTHY PERKINS, Grips, Pazzion, Zara, MNG, and my latest found fad, Lalu!!!

Ok.. I passed this store, Lalu in Marina Square and curiosity just bugged me to find out what they have in store. What I came across is really something I loike!! the store gives this cozy feel when u are inside, the salestaff were very accomodating and pleasant..

Found this interesting and sweet jacket that can be worn formally and casually.. Bought it like for $79.00. The price range in this store is quite affordable.. Pants are like from $59.00 to $99.00. I guess u know where will my next shop fad..introducing LALU!! lol..

Got myself a pair of Pazzion heels.. @ $69.. I think thats quite reasonable for a pair of shoes.. they are quite lasting and comfy, really! Bought a few pairs of them before and I can say they are my favourite for now.. till I found something else better! hehehe :p

Oh on top of that, I got my hubby a nice pair of grey khaki pants for him @ Esprit.. @ Raffles City!! Just thought we could go grey one of these days.. hee hee.. Thankfully he loves it!!

Thats my haul for this early May.. am still waiting for my shipment from Lush Rouge and Co!! Oh yes.. I made some orders from them.. and I will write about them soon. . ..
